Maria is a dedicated and passionate vocalist with a love for both teaching and performing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a concentration in Choral Music from UNC Greensboro, along with a minor in Musical Theatre. With a lifelong background in singing—both professionally and for pure enjoyment—Maria brings a wealth of experience to her students.

Her expertise spans multiple genres, including opera, musical theatre, and contemporary styles, allowing her to tailor her instruction to each student's unique voice and goals. She takes great joy in guiding her students as they develop confidence, technique, and artistry. Known for her engaging and dynamic teaching style, Maria has been affectionately dubbed a "wacky but effective" teacher by her students. She firmly believes that learning to sing should be both challenging and fun, and she strives to create a supportive environment where students can explore and refine their voices to their fullest potential.
